Newsletter: SEPT 2015

As fall puts summer in a RNC, let's enjoy it's last few gasps before we knuckle down for some serious training. For the next month we are going wrap up the guard work and switch our focus to BJJ opening moves. You slap hands, fist bump...now what? Now you do your failsafe opening move and start your dominance. Also, syllabus work. Why syllabus work? Because...
It's Grading Time!
Thursday December 10th! Show us what you got, then bask in the warm glow of accomplishment. As usual, the emphasis is on technical fundamentals. Limit your scope and do what you do well.
Seminar with Miyuu Yamamoto - Sept 27th.
Always a popular night. Learn wrestling for MMA and BJJ from one of the best in the world. $20.00, starts at 8:30pm
Morning classes
9:30 on Fridays. Come and get your morning sweat on.
Announcements
By now you have probably seen me back on the mats, sort of. It is a pleasure to be post-surgery. My knee is healing up and I should be at full speed before winter sets in.
Props & Shout Outs
Props to Evan and Rob for their recent nuptials! Well done gentlemen! Additional props go out to those of you making our new morning class! It's 90 minutes of jits packed in 60. Drills, skill repetition and rolling. What could be more fun in the morning? A shout out to Katya who is out of country for the next month and half. Let's make sure to give her a proper welcome when she returns!
Feedback required
There is an opportunity to add a second morning class. Options are Tuesday or Thursday at 9:30. Shoot me an email if you are interested. If there is enough demand we will start it this month!
